The Government of Bangladesh has been a strong proponent of workforce nutrition, with many large employers in the country implementing an increasing number of workforce nutrition programmes, including a growing number of breastfeeding in the workplace programmes.
The country recognizes the important role to that workforce nutrition brings to building a healthy families, workforces and families — making it a win-win-win for all.
On the occassion of the Pre-Summit of the UN Food Systems Summit, The Honourable Secretary K. M. Abdus Salam, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of Bangladesh delivered a statement on workforce nutrition.
